I learned that just a bit differently:
Chi1 pu2tao2 bu2 tu4 pu2tao2pi2,
Bu4 chi1 pu2tao2 dao4 tu4 pu2tao2pi2.
(If you) Eat the grape don't spit the skin,
(if you) don't eat the grape then spit the skin.
Then there's
ma1ma1 qi2 ma3. ma3 man4. ma1ma1 ma4 ma3.
Mother rode the horse. The horse was slow. Mother cussed the horse out.
And that horrific thing about the woman who dies at 44. Or the one about
the 44 stone lions, or that silly thing about the monk who slips and cracks
his noggin while carrying a bowl of hot soup into the pagoda.
My favorite Bulgarian one is (please forgive the sd hoc spelling):
Tchitchkuvetej tchervenotikvenechkovcheta.
The Uncle's red pumpkins, or so I was told.
I never could remember the wor for "don't be against the constitution".
Adam

one quick breath.
