Here's a bit of the phonology that i hadn't touched upon in Montreiano:
In Montreiano, the endings -ión, and -io evolved into -iún and -iu. Thus,
"nation" became: "naziún", and propio became "propiu". the change of /o/
to /u/ happened when o was preceeded by i.
