Well, Valdyans tend not to celebrate their exact birthday. In fact,
most people don't even know (or don't care) exactly unless they were
born exactly on a feast day (like Midsummer). They only know that
they were born in spring, summer, autumn or winter, and celebrate on
(and calculate from) the feast closest to it.
