I know I've got some German grammar of Vulgar Latin - but I can't find
it. What I did find was Sermo vulgaris Latinus, a collection of Vulgar
Latin texts collected by Gerhard Rohlfs. And I've got the Peregrinatio
Etheriae on my shelves - that's a good read, if you can find a copy,
and it'll give you a good feel for the language.
Have you already done a search with Google? You might
like to take a look at Vulgar Latin, by József Herman
(http://www.psu.edu/psupress/titles/SS_00_books/herman_vulgar.html).
It's only $17,95 at Amazon.
There's is a the bibliography at:
http://www.people.virginia.edu/~bgh2n/vulglat.html.
A certain Richard Firsten had the same problem - he got recommended
"An Introduction to Vulgar Lating" by C.H. Grandgent, and asked on the
Linguist List whether it was any good. You might ask him whether he got
any decent answers: firsten1@icanect.net.
