I suppose that you're talking about what to show on a conlang website. My
_very personal_ preference goes to abstract descriptions with a lot of
examples, especially if there are exeptions and special cases. One thing
that I really like is to always have the translation of the exemples... and
the phonetics, especially if the pronounciation varies according to complex
rules or isn't easy.

My conlang is an alien IAL without verb so I guess you'll say that it has an
unusual grammar. The site is outdated (another grammatical reform is on its
way) but it follows the rules I've described: abstract, example, phonetics,
translation.
One thing you mustn't forget is that your (future) readers know nothing
about your conlang so follow the 3 rules: Explain, explain and explain! ;-)
