I think I did this first time around; but some of the words are still in the
to-do list.

Similar to Kash lacuri < laca 'table' + uri 'write'. In view of other
natlangs that use similar compounds (e.g. Indonesian meja tulis), I was
prompted to look up the etymology of 'desk' in my SOED--- "ME deske < Med.
Latin desca 'ult. referred to Lat. discus', cf. Dais, Dish, Disk." (notes
that discus was also used for 'table') How curious.

Kash añongaya noml. < ñoni 'test, try' + kaya 'know', the academic sense, of
course. Also ...cini, ...lus, ...angasi, ...çindi 'mid[term], final,
prelim., oral'. 'To examine, look closely at' is titingas < tingas 'look at,
view, watch'; noml. andingas 'examination, inspection'

I like that!! Kash, unoriginal, uses ambinal 'grade, score' < pinal 'to
count'; would also apply to the score in a game.

This could be tindis (stative), çutindis (inchoative), or cakatindis
'extremely...'; but the basis meaning is 'nervous, anxious' so perhaps we
need a better word (< press, pressure?)... Also not quite applicable to
mechanical 'stressed = under tension'.
"Stress" in the sense of 'emphasis' is amorok < vorok 'important', caus.
rumorok 'to stress, emphasize'

Uh-oh, doesn't exist......

'write' is uri, noml. añuri is 'anything written, document, message'; añuri
kangaya '... + scholar' is the equiv. of a doctoral dissertation; an
ordinary class paper/article is akurum 'argument, proposal' < hurum 'argue
(amicably), debate'

Probably andingas (telanga 'learned'); to research titingas or perhaps
tindingas; not yet certain.

sugar is cami, but I'm not sure what it's derived from, most likely
something like cane, or perhaps from tree/plant sap
> profit, v. make a profit; gain money or materially = lêêja
Drat, I thought I had both profit and loss, but apparently not.
