                        thanks for the answer tom,
                        i guess the confusion is caused by the fact
                        that

when we speak of "before" and "after" we compare two points
(space or time points)
and actually need a third point, the fixpoint.
lokative we set the fixpoint, as the point where the subjekt is
placed. lets call it "here".
"before" is something nearer to our fixpoint.
"after" is something farer from our fixpoint.
when we transfer this principle on the temporal timeline,
then what is more obvious than setting the fixpoint, as the point at
the subject's time ?
"here" as space-fixpoint, "now" as time-fixpoint.
so that we would use the term "before" for a point in the future,
and "after" for a point in the past.

in a lokative manner:
 _____________                           ______________    __________
|spacepoint1  |       distance          | spacepoint2  |  |fixpoint  |
|             |   <---------------->    |              |  |"here"    |
|_____________|                         |______________|  |__________|

in a temporal manner:
 _____________                           ______________    ___________
|timepoint1   |     time progresses     |timepoint2    |  |fixpoint   |
|(7 o'clock)  |   >-->-->-->-->-->-->   |(8 o'clock)   |  |"now"      |
|_____________|                         |______________|  |___________|

assuming we stay at fixpoint "here", then we say:
"spacepoint1 lies after spacepoint2, because it lies farer away from here."

assuming we stay at fixpoint "now", then we say:
"timepoint1 lies after timepoint2, because it lies farer away from now." ??
no ! we say "before.." instead of "after.."
is this not illogical ?
