Huh. So adding tags to help my scripts identify content has nothing to do
with it, but the <TH COLSPAN=8> things invalidate it... interesting.

Hmm. So what I was really trying to describe, which is "adding tags that
aren't part of HTML in order to use other tools on the file transparently",
really needs a whole new word to describe it...
