Right, that should just about do it. Site updated.

If anyone has opinions and information that they'd like added to the
"purpose" and "colour ideas" sections, let me know.

Here's some opinions:
--

My favourite is the tree-like glyph variation of David's design. It
transports me to a fantastic world in which language is, so to speak,
a fundamental part of the landscape. I don't like the sun with the
rays. They look too "fake" and spoil the majesty of the sunrise, and
furthermore they detract attention away from the glyph.

My second favourite is Christian's suggestion, although some
discussion about colours would be appropriate.

I've been thinking about what sort of selection process is
appropriate for when we get to that stage. Here are my thoughts.
--

A procedure for voting needs to be agreed on, and an umpire needs to
be appointed to declare when voting opens and closes. Perhaps the
timezones in which people live has some bearing on who is the best
choice.

I would like that the flag should belong to the entire Internet
conlanging community, not just the Conlang list. Those of you who are
also members of other conlanging groups should, I believe, feel free
to mention this discussion and invite people to take part. Does
anyone disagree with me?

I believe that selection should take place in multiple phases. Right
now, I only wish to comment on phase #1.

I suggest that a person voting may associate each flag with a score of
A, B, C or D where:
    A = Advocated without reservation.
    B = Acceptable compromise.
    C = Has potential, but would like to see details changed.
    D = Not supported.
From the results, up to three finalists can be selected, namely:
    1 - The design with the most "A" votes.
    2 - The design with the most "A" and "B" votes (total).
    3 - The design with the most "A", "B" and "C" votes.
(Of course, some of these may be the same flag.)

After first phase selections are complete, the only submissions that
will be accepted are those that are variations of the finalist designs.
A Phase #2 selection process will then be necessary, but I think we
should decide how to handle that when we get there.
