Red, green, and yellow. The flag is unheraldic because the red and

BTW, the rules of heraldry (most notably "no metal on metal or color
on color", where "metal" means "white or yellow" and "color" means
"red, green, blue, black, or purple") aren't just arbitrary: they have
everything to do with visibility at a distance, which was even more
critical for armor than for flags.
