Because this listserv, like many others, insists on adding a
"Reply-To:" header pointing back to the listserv. At least it will
not override an existing "Reply-To:" if the message author has
arranged for one.

If so, it is because Pine isn't playing by the rules. But then
the listserv is not either. See Chip Rosenthal's "'Reply-To:' Munging

If this is Netscape 4.0, use Edit Preferences, Mail & Groups, Identity,
Signature File.
