Back when I was living in Texas and my main conlang was Jarda, I had
four different words for "hot", expressing the varying conditions of
summer weather from merely "hot" to "unbearably hot" (roughly speaking:
80, 90, 100, and 110 degrees).
seosj: hot
tlasj: very hot
klisj: uncomfortably hot
zlaga: unbearably hot
