Cool. <<<<<< Thanks.

Cool rule. Perhaps in a later stage all aspirates become fricatives? If aspirates later merge with unaspirated stops, that might lead to interesting cases with compounds, where some /t/'s remain /t/, and others become /T/? <<<<<< Hmm. I might just do that, though I fear I'd lose some clarity in (what is to me) a nice regular way for the roots to work.
>>>>>> > {th} -> [T] > {kh} -> [C](SAMPA) the sound in German "ich"
Why not [x] for {kh}, and maybe [s] for {th}? <<<<<< I instinctively pronounced {th} as /T/ when I tried coming up with it, so it stuck. /C/ just might be /x/, in the end. The sound I instinctively made just seems more like /C/ than /x/.

So /et_hNe/ = [eTge]? Intriguing. <<<<<< Thanks. I think. It seems to work for me when I read out my examples.

Does this mean that C1 is reduplicated? <<<<<< Yes. Singular <kamu> becomes <kakmu> in plural, <kamku> as an instantaneous verb and <kamaku> as a continuous verb.

I don't understand the stuff about roots. <<<<<< Erm, I have virtually no technical terms at my disposal, so I don't know if I can make myself any clearer.
