Probably you are referring to the hi' on some of the words. It's the best way I could think of to keep the short 'i' sound separate from the word it's attached to. hi' is the definite article and I've made it as a prefix to the noun it's pointing to. I also resorted to using the ' in spots where our latin alphabet might cause us to try and change the preceeding vowel sound.
