I am not sure that I, personally, have ever noticed any real difference
between men and women in these matters that you speak of. Certainly,
I would agree with you that in many (perhaps most) cultures, the male
segment of the species has been ordained a special position within the
given culture, and so it should not be surprising that if leadership is one
of the most commonly attributed to them, that men would excel in
speachcraft (to add a conotation of the arts to it). But it has been my
experience that whenever women were exposed to those same kinds
of benefits, they generally do exactly the same as men.
(Now, it might be true that hormonal biological differences do have
some effect on the different worldviews of men and women, but
I'm not sure how restrictive that is upon speachcraft)
