It occured to me one day that the consonant inventory of my oldest and most
worked-at conlang Tairezazh is a subset of the English one. Now, this'dn't
be that surprising if it had a very small inventory, but it hardly is at 22
consonant phonemes. This assumes your dialect has non-velarized "l" and
trilled "r", also.
The vowels are slightly more un-English: [i e: E a A: O o: u eI aI au oI
oU]. The overall "sound" isn't very like English's in my mind ... should be
making a recording one day and get the opinion of some other conlanger ...
