The rooster, definitely and without any alternative. It's the official
animal symbol of France if there's one. As for snails, we're far from the
only country where they're eaten, and as for frogs, I like to tell the
story that the first time I ever ate frog legs was in an Italian restaurant
in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. In other words: we don't eat that many frog
legs, and you certainly cannot find them in a supermarket :)) (unlike
snails :)) ).
