Shouldn't Sweden/Norway have the "elk" instead of the "moose" - I know this
is hairsplitting, but the European variety is generally known as an elk. -
could leave the moose to some US or Canadian state

If authonomical areas (Greenland, Faeroes) are included, I vote for
Roe(deer) to represent Åland. This would also fit in with the deers and
variations thereof which the nordic countries already have. (This, because
the roedeer are all over the place there). Or you could have Åland have the
perch as a translation of what its Finnish name "ahvenamaa" sounds like to a
finn - land of perches, although it is from Old Scandinavian "ahva" - water.

If you decide to list the Sapmi area as one country too, I suggest
"fjällräven" - the fellfox or fjeldfox (alopex lagopus), even though it
predominantly is an animal of the tundra, if you still have the reindeer to
be the symbol of Finland.

Sibiria should have the Sibirian Tiger for sure.
