Although there's nothing wrong with my vision except lifelong myopia
and the usual degree of presbyopia for my age (45), I'm extremely
insensitive to appearances. Consequently, I don't have a favorite
color.
I have a full beard and mustache, I have worn glasses for myopia since
age 7 (nowadays I take them off to read).
As for vices, I haven't ever used alcohol, tobacco, or coffee, though
I take caffeine pills when absolutely necessary (maybe once a month).
I tend to overeat.

If a soldier is asked why he kills people who have done him no harm, or a
terrorist why he kills innocent people with his bombs, they can always
reply that war has been declared, and there are no innocent people in an
enemy country in wartime. The answer is psychotic, but it is the answer
that humanity has given to every act of aggression in history. --Northrop Frye
