The Indoeuropean and Nostratic lists were more or less scholarly fora
run by Rich Alderson, but they seem to have died quietly in their
sleep some time this spring after a protracted period of erraticness.

Of course you haven't heard about them. All the ones with inscriptions
are in the secret collection that Tolkien had secret access to. (And
sorry, I can't tell you how I know, or the Estate will send its goons
to kill me).
