Velaric Egressives... and other weird sounds

Thanks everyone for your replies.

I just discovered another weird sound, and was surprised to discover
that I had no idea what it is.  I was playing around, and I produced a
sort of trill made in the throat.  It almost has the effect of a state
of the glottis, because I can make different vowel sounds during it,
but it's not a glottal effect, because I can make it voiced or
voiceless.  If I put my hand on my throat while making it, I can feel
the trilling even during the voiceless version.  Is a pharyngeal trill
possible???
(Just in case anyone wonders, it is definitely not uvular... lower in
the throat than that.)
