That's me in a nutshell! Of course, since I have Cerebral Palsy I can take
just a certain level of stress and/or intensity of incoming data before
nodding off or getting *real* irritated, and CP people *can* be mildly
autistic -- after all there's brain damage involved --, but my inability to
"tune down" to normal conversation over the weather is something else. To
wit that problem goes away in the right company.
My mother, who is a psychiatrist, once described Asperger people as being
totally devoid of empathy. Adrians description would not make it seem so.
What have you to say about that, Adrian?
