That's me in a nutshell! Of course, since I have Cerebral Palsy I can take just a certain level of stress and/or intensity of incoming data before nodding off or getting *real* irritated, and CP people *can* be mildly autistic -- after all there's brain damage involved --, but my inability to "tune down" to normal conversation over the weather is something else. To wit that problem goes away in the right company. My mother, who is a psychiatrist, once described Asperger people as being totally devoid of empathy. Adrians description would not make it seem so. What have you to say about that, Adrian? /BP B.Philip Jonsson mailto:melroch@mail.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~__ A h-ammen pennuid i phith! \ \ __ ____ ____ _____________ ____ __ __ __ / / \ \/___ \\__ \ /___ _____/\ \\__ \\ \ \ \\ \ / / / / / / / \ / /Melroch\ \_/ // / / // / / / / /___/ /_ / /\ \ / /Melarocco\_ // /__/ // /__/ / /_________//_/ \_\/ /Eowine__ / / \___/\_\\___/\_\ Gwaedhvenn Angelmiel\ \_____/ / a/ /_adar Merthol naun ~~~~~~~~~Cuinondil~~~\_______/~~~\__/~~~Noolendur~~~~~~ || Lenda lenda pellalenda pellatellenda cuivie aiya! || "A coincidence, as we say in Middle-Earth" (JRR Tolkien)
