I often feels that too. And sometimes I feel 'disconnected' from reality,
as if I was looking at everything (including me) from above.
And while we are at our strange features, let me tell you my strangest one
:) :
When I was younger (15 or so, I don't remember exactly), I went through a
rough time. I was sick two days with about 42°(Celsius, I know nothing
about Farenheight) and went through a kind of delirium, like a dream (the
images I remember are not bad, I remember centaures, fairies, Mario - yes,
the one of Nintendo - etc... but the impression I got during it was really
difficult to cope with - I cannot explain what it is like, I just lack
words to explain it -) but of a strange kind. Each time I closed my eyes it
appeared instantly, and I could open my eyes again and it disappeared.
Strange isn't it? Well, now I've recovered from it but from then I suffer
from what I call 'crises'. The bad feeling and the images come back
suddenly, and generally don't prevent me from carrying on my activity, but
it's easier if I stop it, because it's nearly painful. It lasts generally a
few seconds, and when it's finished I cannot remember exactly the contents
of the images, even if it was a few seconds ago that I had the 'crisis'.
I've always wondered what it is but never found an explanation.
