I asked to a lawyer if I could sue the French Army for what they did me. He
said that I could try that, but the Army has very good lawyers and in such
a case nobody there would help me, even the ones that undertook the same as
me (some because they are afraid of the punishment, others because they
agree on the 'initiation'). Knowing that even the hierarchy is in favour of
this system (I discussed it with the chief of the militar school's
infirmary. He told me that for having tried to stop this "tradition" he
lost his post at the school's direction) the lawyer told me that I would
have to spend lots of money with approximately no chance of winning. I
couldn't afford a trial, both financially and emotionnally, so I decided to
abandon the idea.
