Oh, yes, of course, I thought you wanted a change to something more vulgar by not using the original article. :-) Your new example is a very good. German also has words that have different plural when used with different meanings: die Bank, pl: die Banken - 'the bank' die Bank, pl: die B"anke - 'the bench' And French seems to have some words that change gender from singular to plural I think (l'orgue -- the organ?). **Henrik
