Since "android" seems to be getting shortened to
"droid" in recent SF perhaps we should lauch a
preemptive strike and simply shorten "gynoid" to
"noid" to begin with.
A lot of men would find "a noid" to be a good match
with "a woman". I know I've been a-noid by any number
of women in the past, ;-)
Besides, gynoids sound too much like gonads for my
taste.
