Not London. My accent comes from a mixture
5 years Goring by Sea East Sussex
13 years Peru
3 years Havant Hampshire
12 years Hove Brighton East Sussex
6 years Peru again
My accent is estuary influenced:
My l's sound like vowels before consonants and in final position after a
vowel. I checked [M\] at
http://www.ling.hf.ntnu.no/ipa/full/ipachart_cons_pulm.html
I'm not sure if it quite does my l's justice
sometimes I have final glottal stop, but never intervocalic
my o in rode is different from my o in cold: [@U] v [oU]
slowly doesn't rhyme with goalie
sl@Uli] v [goUli]
