Not London. My accent comes from a mixture 5 years Goring by Sea East Sussex 13 years Peru 3 years Havant Hampshire 12 years Hove Brighton East Sussex 6 years Peru again My accent is estuary influenced: My l's sound like vowels before consonants and in final position after a vowel. I checked [M\] at http://www.ling.hf.ntnu.no/ipa/full/ipachart_cons_pulm.html I'm not sure if it quite does my l's justice sometimes I have final glottal stop, but never intervocalic my o in rode is different from my o in cold: [@U] v [oU] slowly doesn't rhyme with goalie sl@Uli] v [goUli] David Barrow
