Re: OT: Ads on My Website

In response to David Peterson: On my Windows system, I see no pop-ups; there are
the usual banner ads across the top, and a M$ warning that "Your computer may
be infected...." at the bottom. I get similar stuff on my own website on
Tripod. Compared to some, the free sites on Tripod are surprisingly free of the
sort of pop-ups that obscure part of one's text and aren't easily closed. You
get what you pay for.
(Some of the banner ads are moderately interesting-- apparently keyed to words in
one's text. Because I mention "language" and "Indonesian", I get little ads for
"Learn Indonesian!" et sim.)

If I could ask a favor of anyone (especially those without a Mac, or who don't
use Safari as their main web browser), I'd like to know if, when you go to my
website, it gives you pop-ups. There are two specific pages I want to test. The
first is the main page:
http://dedalvs.tripod.com/
And the second is a page I've cleverly modified so that the ads are still
written into the code, but so (I hope) they don't appear, through some random
loophole:
