In the DUW, there is absolutely no meat-eating, and in fact, no
plant-eating.  All food is artificially produced by recycling organic
molecules, and the science of taste is so refined that any imaginable
taste can be reproduced.

Also, food is free, energy is basically free, and that's the only thing
needed to produce food from raw materials.
