Zireen eat various insects and worms. Although customs vary from one group
to another, most don't eat meat from mammals or birds, but they will eat
seafood and artificially grown "meat". Another favorite Zireen food is
"mái" (stringy noodles), not to be confused with "mai" (an intoxicating
beverage). This is often mixed with meat and spices, which is called "yì".
Mizarians typically eat nuts and berries, even some varieties that are
unpalatable to humans, and a few kinds of insects (but not as many as the
Zireen). Acorn soup (skiech'tip) and cricket soup (kierikwich'tip) are
examples of Mizarian foods that I have words for in the Chispa dictionary.
Nikta will eat people of other (non-Nikta) species if they can get them.
Their usual diet includes fairies.
