I disagree, with a thousand messages per month over
several years ...
My suggestion: Archive them in some easy way as a mass
of individual plain HTML web pages linked in the usual way
to their parent. BUT: get several of the big search engines
to index the whole mess. Then we get everything needed.
(Must delete email addresses though - spam and privacy.)
