My sentences are not that long only because I despise the semi-colon. I
really hate to employ this punctuation mark, so my sentences have to be
short or they become really exhausting, even for me :) . BTW, I hate
this semi-colon so much that even in the languages I write in the Roman
alphabet, I always redefine the punctuation so that it lacks the
semi-colon (often, it's also the only change I do in punctuation :) ).
Chasma"o"cho is an exception, but here I use the semi-colon as an
interrogative mark, and there is no equivalent of the semi-colon as used
in English or French.
