Mostly. In Sardinian, the definite articles are "su" and "sa" from
Latin "ipse, ipsa" (the same one). This can also be used in some dialects
of Catalan contrastively with the standard ille-based articles:
"la mort" = "Death (abstraction)" vs. "sa mort" = "the death (of which we
were speaking)".
