i just remembered i have this:

        Ramón Menéndez Pidal
        Manual de Gramática Histórica Española
        duodécima edición 1966
        (c) 1904, 1905, 1914, 1918, 1925, 1940

bought it in the Mission at least ten years ago, with uncut pages.
(i see i eventually cut the first third of them.)
