Decomposed verbs; hmmm. Try http://www.smart.net/~bartlett/frater2.html#verbs. IMO: 'The red book be gift from Mary to John'. According to Pablo Flores <pablo-flores@...>, some langs use one verb, the copula, and that word is a unique word, in its own class. Maybe I'll start a verbless conlang... With a trigger system and stuff. --Robert
