In Southern Switzerland they use Italian as official language, but, in
everyday's life, even on TV (not during the news or political talkshows,
obviously), they use dialect, or, at least, they used to use dialect till 20
years ago. Indeed, with increasing immigration, many people now speak
dialect only in family - as in Italy -, and not in public life. It's up to
you to decide, now!
