Born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT and living there now. I
speak German (the result of a 2-year Mormon mission and a
subsequent BA) and Dutch (exchange student at the University of
Tilburg), and can put together sentences in Shoshoni given
enough time and motivation (been doing real-life,
gettin'-paid-for-it field work on the language for the past 5
years).
Something else of interest. In the 5th grade, I memorized "Casey
at the Bat." I still know it. It has been a continual source of
inspiration to me and has molded the man I am today.
