I'd guess that's probably a version of THE classic Adventure game by
Crowther & Woods. If this is the one, you're in luck: I recently found a
great site that has downloads of Adventure for numerous machines (even the
orignal PDP-10 Fortran source code!) and lots of fascinating background
information.
