I agree. I think that the most important thing that a conlang.org site could do is provide web space for constructed language descriptions (if only so I don't have to deal with all those annoying pop-up windows at geocities -- aurgh). A "conlang registry" might be nice as well -- a user-driven database thingy that contains a link to and description of the constructed language (that would be easily modifyable by the language's author).
