That's a whole different kettle of fish. In fact, dried cod treated
with lye, then boiled with salt, and it's suitable only for hardened
Norwegians. (Danes did eat dried cod from Norway and Iceland earlier,
as did most of Europe, but noone copied the lye treatment, I think).
IIRC, the Norwegian pronunciation is something like ["lYt@fisk], with
a falling tone on the first syllable and rising on the third.
