THEORY: PIE, laryngeals, and schwa indogermanicus

I chanced to come across Gábor Sándi's page on PIE phonology
(http://www.tundria.com/Linguistics/pie-phonology.shtml), and saw he in many
cases reconstruct *both* a laryngeal and a schwa in many positions. In at least
one case he even has vowel+pharyngeal+schwa - _pa-x@ters_ for _pH2ter-_. I was
wondering what the resident PIists think about this.
