You cannot use Unicode for this. You have to use standard Devanagari fonts. There are three types of Devanagari fonts. 1. Unicode (Arial Unicode MS) - In this , Devanagari letters cannot be typed. 2. Standard fonts - These are the most used fonts, but there is no correspondence between Roman charcters on the keyboard and the anagari charcters on the screen. For example, typing 'n' on keyboard won't give you the Devanagari letter 'n'. 3. Phonetic fonts- There is a correspondence between Roman and Devanagari. Typing 'n' would give you Devanagari for n. So, this is better for us, though it is not widely used. Nikhil
