Minimal pairs should be easy for Irish, since the so-called "aspiration" mutation maps /k/ (orthographically c) and /s/ into /x/ and /h/ respectively, at least when followed by an (orthographic) back vowel. Since aspiration is a grammatical feature, it suffices to look for two words beginning "cA" and "sA" (where A is any back vowel) but otherwise identical. -- John Cowan http://www.ccil.org/~cowan cowan@ccil.org You tollerday donsk?
