Here in Texas, to borrow a line from the movie _The Blues Brothers_:
"We got both kinds of music here. Country *and* Western."
I personally have heard two compositions by Phillip Glass. Not that
much more repetitive than a lot of your pop songs.
Ob-Conlang/Conculture: As intellectually and artistically advanced as
my Techians are, they still tend to gravitate toward the traditional
Ethiopian pentatonic scale.
