If you mean the way she says "twinty-sex --- no twinty-siven --- no twinty-five", that's because the biggest difference between the Kiwi vowels and the Australian ones are in the short front vowels: The only good example of that otherwise is the word "Yis" which she says very quickly and isn't really a part of the speech. Also, it's no worse than Australians do to Kiwis or vice-versa.

I don't think so. I've always understood "Down Under" to refer to the country of Australia, not the Antipodes or the continent. Wikipedia says it "refer[s] to Australia and occasionally New Zealand". -- Tristan.
