Mail clients can set a Reply-To: header, so that when someone replies to a
message, it'll be sent to that address rather than the adress in the From:
field. The CONLANG listserv normally adds Reply-To: headers to emails to
help list traffic stay on the list, but if someone sets the Reply-To:
header, it doesn't add it's own.
So don't worry, it isn't your fault. Use the Reply To All or Reply To
Group function of your mail client if it has one to get around the
problem. (This may be a good habit to be in when using mailing lists,
because not all of them add the Reply-To: header.)

Yesterday I was a dog. Today I'm a dog. Tomorrow I'll probably still
be a dog. Sigh! There's so little hope for advancement.
