Other Lists & Software Questions

Two questions.  First--I have been paying far too little attention to this
list.  I managed to catch that one or more other related lists, including
one called conculture, have been created recently.  Can someone give me
contact information on these?

Secondly, has anyone had luck finding linguistics software for Linux?  I
have lost access to Wintel computers and all the programs I
liked--particularly LangMaker and some of the SIL stuff--I can no longer
use.
