Word shifting.

I know when I was a child in Idaho/Oregon, gay meant different things, alot
depending on how you used it.

That's so gay! = that is so wierd.

He's Gay? = homosexual.

Gay, generally seems to mean the flippant, efeminite meaning of "Gay", as it
relates to a person who is acting joyous, happy, odd, wierd, different.
Normally not in a bad way, just basically Odd.

Sort of like the differenece between the stereotype "drag queen" veruss a
"real" female..

This does not mean they are homosexual, just a bit off, odd, different in a
certain way..

And yes, can mean somethng someone does that is to wierd, to normal as
well..
