- I only know two of them: Simon is Shim`on, spelled: shin (hhiriq) mem (shva) `ayin (hholam-malei) nun-sofit or just shin - mem - `ayin - vav - nun.sofit and pronounced something like [Sim3on], where /3/ is a voiced pharyngeal fricative or approximant (the "`ayin" sound) Joseph is Yoseif, spelled: yud (hholam-malei) samekh (tzeireh) pei-sofit or just yud - vav - samekh - pei.sofit and pronounced something like [josef]. the two /o/'s might be long, i'm not sure and i'm not sure if it matters. both names are stressed on the last syllable. -Stephen (Steg) "gut vox!"
