In Zera there are artificial languages, they are humans after all and
they have being mimicing the world, and since there has exist an
internet (not quite our Internet) for a long time now, a subcuture as
our has been developed.
By other hand English is not as spread, nor any other natural
language. Non-English-spoken countries like the Baltic Federation and
Lemuraki have been as important for technology development as England
and the East Columbian Confederation (mostly English spoken, but
actually multilingual). This has help the development of several
artificial interlanguages, like Hansa-Baltic (based on low German with
influences from Swedish, Polish and other neighburing languages) and
Columbian Franca, a interlanguage developed in similar way as IALA
Interlingua taking common elements from English, French, Dutch and
Floridian (Spanish)... well some Lemuraki also.
Oxayian is also a Indonesian/Pilipino/Nynorska like interlingua (a
language created by filologist or linguists in order to unify diferent
languages/dialects, quite artificial), as is the language of Haang.
Well, even Nyucar and Criollo could be counted in this category.
In different fields of the science, some interlinguas had been
developed. It has been developed a mathematical interlingua, a
chemistry interlingua and several others (most physics use the
mathematical interlingua). These interlinguals are mostly written
forms with a way to internationally pronounce all graphical elements,
and have been so complexly elaborated that you can attend and even
dictate an international lecture with the knowledge adquired at
college.
There is not, however, one IAL, neither natural nor artificial. But
the dynamics in Zera has ease the development of these
science-specific
interlinguas.
